Most web shops show you a gallery of thumbnails. I’d rather show my work — the real reasoning behind real builds. These are honest teardowns, written by the person who did the building. Three are my own; the fourth is my first outside client — a river-town tavern in Pequea.
The site that started Handbuilt.
A 65-year family shop was paying an agency $1,930 a month for a site that didn’t bring in work. I fired it and rebuilt around the lead engine that was already working.
