Privacy Policy
Last updated 26 July 2026.
Handbuilt is a website-design service run by Trevor. This explains what happens to information you share on handbuilt.works. The short version: I collect as little as possible, I use no trackers, and I never sell your information.
What I collect
- What you send through the contact form — your name and email, and optionally your business name, trade, current website, phone number, and whatever you write in the message.
- Basic technical logs kept by the site's host (Netlify) — things like IP address, browser type, and time of visit — used to keep the site secure and running.
What I don't do
No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party tracking cookies, no data brokers. The site loads no third-party scripts — you can confirm that in your browser's network tab.
How I use it
Only to read and reply to your message, and — if you become a client — to do the work we agree on. That's it.
Who it's shared with
The contact form is processed by the site's host, Netlify, and the message is emailed to me. I don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing. Netlify handles data under its own privacy terms.
How long I keep it
As long as I need it to respond and for my own records. Ask me and I'll delete it.
Your choices
Email trevor@handbuilt.works any time to see, correct, or delete the information you've sent. If you live somewhere with specific privacy rights — for example California or the EU — those rights apply and I'll honor them.
Children
This site isn't meant for children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes & contact
If this policy changes, I'll update the date above. Questions: trevor@handbuilt.works.
